I can’t recommend the balayage studio enough! Such a cute and clean space!

I booked a balayage with Kristen after my hair stylist decided to cancel on me on my birthday, and before I booked, I reached out to her with my hair inspo. She reassured me that she would be able to give me what I wanted, and she definitely did! Getting your hair done can be such a long process, but the hours went by fast, and Kristen nailed it! So happy to have found her on instagram, because I will definitely be back.

If I could give The Balayage Studio more than 5 stars, I would! Yais is an expert at what she does. She tailors each dimensional balayage to the client, artfully choosing colors and cuts that bring out the best in every individual client. I've never felt better about my hair. Not only are the services superb, but the stylists are such lovely people and the studio itself is extremely charming. Plus, after a complementary coffee from the local coffee shop next door, you're greeted by the cutest little dog. The Balayage Studio is a true gem; I always leave feeling like the best, most confident version of myself. I now live in NYC, but refuse to find another stylist and will keep coming back to the Balayage Studio in SLC!

Karilynn has been doing my hair for the last 6 years and the one time I did it with someone else I completely regretted it. I can’t speak highly enough for her, she is the best in the industry. She keeps my hair healthy and always recommend me the best option to maintain in the way I like it. She is passionate and her hands are simple full of magic. She always has a smile in her face and the conversations with her is always fun while she does her job, you don’t feel intimidated or awkward and that’s why I enjoy so much to do it with her. She has an awesome personality and if you are not doing you hair with Karilyn I don’t know what are you waiting for.

I’ve been going to Yais for nearly 6 years now and just had my hair done by her junior stylist Mia. I’m elated to say that she was absolutely fantastic! She took her time and carefully planned how she wanted each section of my hair to look. She also consulted fellow stylists throughout the process which was super appreciated. Mia is sweet and gentle, and gave me a killer foiliage (I had some residual box dye and she was able to work with it seamlessly!) I’ve always appreciated how The Balayage Studio caters to ethnic hair and can trust them with any of my hair needs. Every stylist is super talented and I’m very happy with my new cut and color.
