Wonderful experience, so centrally located and close to everything. Don't have your expectations too high for the breakfast, but it was on of the better continental breakfasts I've had. The robot that brings towels is also very unique. Overall, great long weekend get away.

Lovely check-in with a super friendly and cheerful employee, but all the other encounters we had with the front desk were subpar. This lady hardly looked up from her laptop and clearly really didn't want to be there. Go find another job if you don't like your current one.

The room was clean and reasonable in size, but I do feel kind of ripped off paying extra for a so called room with a view on the top floor. It literally looked over the top level of the parking garage and all the way in the distance you could see some greenery. That top level was also used for nightly car drifting a couple of times... Luckily the police patrolled the garage often so it was shut down pretty quickly.

Breakfast was mediocre at best. Almost no healthy options and horrible coffee. But the most annoying part was the guy working the breakfast room: constantly trying to engage in (lengthy!) small talk with everybody in the room. Please learn to read your audience better, not everybody likes lots of talking early in the morning.

The location is perfect, right in the middle of a cute town centre with lots of shops and restaurants close by. Ample parking in the adjacent garage.

All in all a bit too expensive for the quality.

We had 40 people stay here for a family wedding at Boone Hall. 2 families had no air conditioning. One family had no use of a toilet. They had to use the lobby toilet! Front desk staff shrugged. I would estimate that 90% of our guests commented negatively to us about the hotel staff. If you are planning a Boone Hall wedding, please know that this hotel refuses to hand out welcome bags to guests upon check in. Lobby is oppressively hot and humid. This is probably why there were gnats and flies all over the food. They advertise a lobby bar. Please know that there is a bar, but it is not open! Our room smelled like cigarettes and gasoline. Our dog found random pills on the floor in the bathroom from a previous guest. Which brings me to our dog. We have traveled the world with our docile 5 year old havanese. We have never had an incident. Something or most likely someone set her off while we were at our son’s wedding. Staff called me before our first dance to tell us to come and get her - it was 645 pm in a dog friendly hotel and before quiet hours.

The room was quiet, breakfast was great the staff was friendly parking was convenient, the room was especially clean and was attended every day. It was unique with a location that was exciting and challenging. The stores that were in the neighborhood we an experience.

Worse hotel experience totally unexpected. The location of this hotel is central, but in the middle of this strange shopping center. When I got to the hotel the entrance was confusing as well as inconvenient as I had to park in first level and leave my car and go up to the second level to check in. |After I checked in and they gave me my room I could not get wifi signal so they moved me to another room that was smaller and less comfortable. The door wouldn’t self close and would get stuck and so I had to make sure it was shut every time. The room was ok but the whole place just felt very stale. I already had a bad taste in my mouth when I woke up the next morning to go have breakfast. | I have to say the breakfast was a complete joke! What they called scrambled eggs looked to be a white and purple/blue color and was so dry it looked like bread crumbs. I don’t think it was real food and was not suitable for consumption. They didn’t even offer anything like a muffin or a sweet cake. It was super basic and even if it was free it wasn’t worth consuming.|When I checked out I locked my key in the room and gave them my ice bucket from the room that I used to get a bit of ice for my cooler. The front desk employee looked at me with an attitude and said, “Do you expect us to put it back in the room?” I couldn’t believe it! I was going to tell her to take a hike, but I chose the high road instead and just said thank you!|I ended up moving to the other hotel by Hyatt House in Mount Pleasant the next day and so glad I did! If you are going to stay in Mount Pleasant, do not stay at the Hyatt Place and go to the Hyatt House instead.
