Extremely high price, low quality. Cost almost triple what I would have paid elsewhere but was the nearest place to me and did not have time to go elsewhere, so thought “I might as well have it done.” Wish I didn’t because the stitches aren’t straight, turns are jagged, random strands just sticking out, and corners don’t even match up. I’ve seen better quality in a high school makers class.

Sitting at dinner tonight at a nice restaurant and my very particular wife starts randomly telling how amazing this clothing tailor is. I’m like, where is this place!!? She keeps going on and on about how great they are. As a business owner myself I asked her if she left a review? She said yes, a while ago. I figured I needed to post a review too because she just doesn’t rave like this unsolicited. Great job, maybe I’ll meet you too one day!

If I could give this place zero starts I would. I went in to get a bridesmaid dress altered and was charged $180 for just the length...more than the dress was worth. I came to pick up two weeks later and they sent me on my way. Did not ask me to try the dress on again or if I wanted to see it. I went home and the length was much much shorter than what I had asked for. It was completely uneven and not wearable for the wedding. I took the dress back in and asked that they fix the length (she tried to charge me AGAIN). She agreed to add length on and to pick up a week later. I came back to pick up and no changes had been made. It was completely unwearable and looked unprofessional. I had to go buy a NEW bridesmaid dress a week before the wedding. I called and asked for my money back. They asked me to come in and when I did they both proceeded to argue with me that the dress was fine and they did what I asked. They were yelling, laughing and acting completely unprofessional. She took my card and told me they were going to refund me. As I stood there she was laughing and proceeded to CHARGE my card again NOT refund me. I immediately knew she charged my card as I looked at my bank account. She said "I did not think it would show up that fast" "I was not cooled down yet'. I have NEVER been treated so poorly and was as kind as could be during this super frustrating experience. I am not one to leave reviews but I HOPE nobody gets this same treatment.

This place was great. I rolled in on a Friday afternoon to get my Azazie bridesmaid dress taken in and hemmed. They had me try on the dress with my shoes on and said they would take it in and tighten a loose strap, but that the dress didn't need to be hemmed because the length was just right. They said they could finish it in 2 weeks, but for an extra $20 they were able to finish it in 5 days. When I picked up the dress it was perfect!!! They did a fantastic job! Everyone there was very friendly. Will be coming back here in the future.

FYI - they said that hemming the dress takes longer (especially since my dress had several layers of fabric). So if I needed the dress hemmed I assume they would have needed more than 5 days. Lesson learned - make sure you give them plenty of time if you need your clothes hemmed.

I am a repeat customer with Applewood tailors. They have worked magic for so much of our wardrobe. They managed to restore life to 2 old leather coats in disrepair. Provide fitted jeans, and adjust all the sports gear for my kiddo. They’ve always risen to each challenge I bring. I’m so happy to have them in the neighborhood.

I have had two dresses with seam tears fixed here. The areas are obvious now. Very sloppy work.
