I was in a disaster scenario leading up to my wedding after my dress, which took 6 months to make, arrived only a few months before the big day. I originally booked with a different alterations shop but panicked after reading their terrible reviews. A friend recommended Mia, and I called her in a panic just days before she was set to leave on a trip abroad. I was so grateful she took me on with confidence, and after our first appointment, I knew she could get the job done.

My dress proved to be quite difficult, but Mia put in the extra time and care to make sure it remained in its original state. Instead of cutting the fabric at the bottom, she skillfully brought it in from the interior. She was incredibly receptive to my feedback throughout the process, and on my wedding day, the dress fit perfectly! I’m so glad I found her just in time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you’re willing to pay for top-quality work — her prices are still very reasonable!

Mia is a goddess of tailoring. Seriously. I went to her for my wedding dress, a beautiful off the rack dress that had everything- lace, sequence, beading, horsehair underlay... seriously. It was a "more is more" situation. I am a pear shape and Mia took my size 10 dress and made it size 2 on top and size 12 on bottom and the large lace pieces were perfect. Serious magic. I cannot recommend her enough.
Also, the vibe in the shop is fantastic. Very fun and feel good. Dress fittings was one of my favorite parts of preparing for the wedding.

Mia is incredible! I came to her for my wedding dress and she worked so hard to make sure it fit like a glove- even telling me to make sure to try it on within a week before my wedding so she could do anything last minute I thought of. I could not have had a better experience & am so grateful for her expertise. She also tailored by husbands suit and did an incredible job with menswear too!

Mia is an absolute miracle worker, a true artist at her craft! I first found her while searching for a tailor for my wedding dress earlier this year, and now I can’t imagine trusting anyone else—I've since had Mia work on over six dresses. From the moment you walk into her shop, Mia makes you feel not only welcomed but completely at ease, which is so important when you're entrusting someone with your most special garments.

Mia tailored my wedding dress, as well as my rehearsal dinner dress, after-party dress, and even my next-day dress. She also worked on my mom's Mother of the Bride dress, and each piece was flawless. Most recently, I brought her a vintage fringe dress from the 1970s that was not only intricate but too small. Even though Mia explained how challenging it would be to let the dress out due to the fringe placement, she didn’t give up. After I begged her to work her magic, she came up with an incredible solution, and the dress now fits perfectly. I couldn’t be more amazed!

Mia's talent, dedication, and creativity know no bounds. I recommend her to everyone I know—she's my go-to for any special occasion, no matter how complex the garment. If you want someone you can truly trust with your most important pieces, Mia is the one!

My dress was custom made and took about a year to make. As you could imagine my measurements didn't hold by the time I got it. Mia was able to shorten the dress (I thought I'd be wearing higher heels), cinch it up around the waist, and pull up the corset portion to better match my chest measurements . The dress fit perfectly and it was done at a fair price

It's taken me way to long to write this review! Mia took my long shot (and last-minute) idea and created the unique wedding dress of my dreams. She sewed three separate pieces together to make a simple strapless dress into something much more. I know that any other Denver tailor besides Mia would not have had the faith, patience, kindness or skill to make it happen. Especially not for a reasonable price and under tight deadline. She really is wonderful!

My DIL took her wedding gown to Mia for tailoring. The first appointment, Mia was an hour late. It took 3 appointments and at the last appointment, there was a stain (oil from the sewing machine) on the bodice. When this was shown to Mia, she waved off and said she would refund $50.

I cannot adequately share the amount of stress this caused as the wedding is in 6 days. The lack of accountability by Mia is another issue.

I would highly recommend Laundry Day in Park Hill who does tailoring and dry cleaning. If there is a silver lining, it is the couple who own this shop. They are amazing and highly professional individuals.
