I went this morning with three pairs of new, cotton, yoga-type pants to be shortened. I reviewed the website and saw no prices posted. I previously used alterations in a local dry cleaners but their person is out on medical leave. The employee measured me, got my info, we agreed upon a date (three weeks out), and she quoted $72. These are cotton/lycra pants - no liner, no fancy material. I said the quote is more than anticipated. She asked how much I usually pay. I said $15 a pair for these kind of pants in Castle Pines. She just said “no”. I said “ok, I’ll do something else”. She said she would need to remove her alteration marks and pins. As she was doing this, she told me I needed to read #5. After searching her wall space, I saw a 8.5x11 sheet of paper in a plastic sleeve with her rules. #5 said “there is a 10% charge for measuring if you don’t go through with the job”. I said “you want me to pay $7.50 for measuring me?” I said “I am not paying anything and you need to post prices on your website and here in your shop”. Prices are posted nowhere in her storefront. She said she would. I hope she does. It would have saved me a 16 mile round trip and saved her the effort.

Went in to get two suit jackets tailored. I told her what I wanted done (which wasn’t much) and she said it was gonna be over $400. When I said I didn’t want to proceed because that’s as much as a full new suit, she said “can you not read the sign.” In the top left corner of the store was a tiny sign that said if you do not proceed with the tailor you owe the store 10% of the would be cost because of her “time” spent measuring me, which was no longer then 6 to 10 minutes max. I didn’t wanna argue so I gave her the $40 just to get my jackets back. The lady was so rude and is definitely a scam. DO NOT COME HERE!

Went in to get my suit tailored mostly to bring in the sides. Sold me on also adjusting the collar to make it fit better at the top. Tried to sell me on shortening one sleeve. I passed because it was already 200. Picked up my suit and they didn’t bring the sides in at all and she is like see here on the receipt nothing about bringing the sides in. She also tried to tell me I opted not to do that and I said no that was the sleeve I literally came in just to have the sides taken in. Didn’t have time to fix before the wedding and they didn’t even offer. The work she did do was fine though the pants look better and the collar is a tighter fit, just expensive for what they did.

I have used magic needle a number of times. They are one of the few places I can find that can see patches onto leather. They do good work, but the wait time can be a bit long. Prices are reasonable.

Look, they are not cheap and they are not particularly fast BUT they do really good work. Adelina especially. I don't purchase super expensive clothes, and I'm no model, but she makes my clothes fit really, really well.

I’m devastated. I brought my wedding dress in to be altered and was told it would be an easy fix. When I picked it up on Friday I noticed there were changes to the dress that I was not told about. The neckline slightly changed and it was taken in too much to the point where I can no longer lift my arms in the dress. The dress fit better before I brought it in. I’m now frantically looking for another tailor to fix this mistake because the woman I talked to about the change got aggressive and defensive and told me she wouldn’t look at it. Please don’t trust this place to alter any kind of special garment. Before and after pictures are below.

So disappointing. Went in there with hi hopes. She wanted to charge me 775.00 for a little hem. She was rude and when I said no way I had to pay 10%to get my dress back. Prices and estimates are not posted anywhere. She will not tell you this either on the phone. The way she was going to do the back made it look way worse. Don't waste your time with this place. Go somewhere where they are polite and don't do dirty business
