Brought in a leather vest for her to sew some patches on, and she looked at it for less than 30 seconds and said “too hard to do, would cost you too much money“. She has done good work for me in the past with Military and law-enforcement uniforms, so I was surprised with this response. Based on the inconsistency of her recent reviews, I think she may want to consider retiring or maybe she should take up another line of work.

I was referred to Janny for a very last minute hem on my bridesmaids dress. She was able to take me for measurements same-day, which was a very quick process, & finished my dress in just 24 hours! The hem is the perfect length. I would highly recommend her!

She tried to charge me $50 for four small patches, the largest about 5” in diameter, three times the rate I’ve experienced in Colorado Springs. When she found out I wanted to use a debit card, she said I would be charged an additional $10, and also said it would take an additional week of time. When I told her no thank you and tried to pick up my vest, she tried to yank it out of my hands, and started removing the patches that she had stapled in the locations I wanted. Woman had an attitude as soon as I walked up to the counter. I wouldn’t have give her a single star, but I had to select a star to complete this.

I came to this alteration shop to have a new suit fitted. I was met with an unprofessional attitude. The price suit coat adjustment was $120 (i.e. sleeves and sides taken in. Lastly, advance payment was demanded! I will not be returning to this business!

Repeat customer but not anymore. I don’t know what changed for Janny but she has recently become very rude/snappy and sloppy. Upon receiving my OCP top and hat that I dropped off for ranks to be sewn on, I asked her if she could fix them since the seams were not straight and aligned, nor was the rank centered. She said “with these as long as from a distance the rank is level it didn’t matter.” Since I have had work done with her before, I tried with no success to communicate the desire for the rank to be centered and have its seams aligned, even pointing to the rank on the OCPs I was currently wearing that day (saying to her that she did an excellent job in the past). She grabbed the uniform up, started rushing to the back, said I was being very harsh, and that she was so mad that she didn’t want to see me until pickup. I asked for a refund since she seemed so upset and thought it best to simply take my uniform elsewhere. She did provide the refund. Shame, no clue what’s changed. Cannot recommend at all.

Jannys great! Very professional with reasonable pricing. She was able to take care of a couple items I brought in the same day a couple weeks ago so I came back today with something else that needed to be lengthened with no rush for timing and she said it’d be ready tomorrow. How great is she!

I came into Janny's today since the other places had horrible reviews. The great thing was, by far I was NOT disappointed! I was beyond pleased. I needed a dress done the same day because it was a size far too big. I was so happy I found her. It was done within an hour and she even helped the top part in a bit because the manufacturer of the dress made the top trim stick out way too far. Also the price was pretty awesome, and she was very friendly and helpful. She also has like 30 years of experience and doesn't charge an express fee. I'm very happy with the work.
