I was super disappointed in her pricing. Jenny didn’t give me an estimate before leaving my garment and then overcharged a ridiculous amount for a simple hem. My garment wasn’t lined and a linen material so very easy to fit in any machine for a quick hem. I will say she spent 10 minutes pinning the correct length and also that she called a day or so later when it was done but to change someone FIFTY DOLLARS for a hem is outrageous. And it’s too bad because I would have been a loyal and repeat customer. I hope she rethinks her business model. A bad review isn’t worth it.

Had to get a dress express altered for a wedding- Jenny had it finished within a day and did a fantastic job! I’m so happy with the results and very reasonable price. 10/10 have found my new alterations place!

Friendly, convenient and quick. It was my first time here as I was nearby with my wife and I need to get my wool coat repaired. Jenny was friendly right away and when I showed her what needed to be done, so was very confident she could fix it. Since I wasn't going to be able to pick it up over the next few days and it was a (I guess for her) minor repair, she was nice enough to get it done in the same day.

Affordable and the work was very good quality from what I can see.

I was in a pinch and had to have a dress tailored very last minute for a wedding after my original bridesmaid's dress didn't work out. My dress was finished in just a few days. I believe I dropped it off on a Friday, and was able to get it on Monday the following week. It was perfect, and I appreciated how accommodating the business owner was with my situation. I will definitely be taking more clothing back here for any tailoring needs in the future.

She consistently creates the looks I need to look my best because she is willing to disagree with me and work with me until her infinite knowledge mixes with my vision and the right silhouette is made. Jenny is the best tailor I've ever dealt with. She took on a nearly impossible task of making heavy alterations to some very thick leather motorcycle gloves and did a perfect job with a smile... even though I had been turned down by three other shops prior to finding her because the job was so difficult.

She's been doing this stuff in the Austin area for over 30 years, so she knows her stuff. Beyond her skill, she's very friendly, communicative, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended, and a great way to support small local Austin businesses.
