The only reason I am giving their score of 4!stars is that they couldn’t fix what I came for and the cost to get what I wanted done.
I had a backpack that that needed a zipper or a zipper replacement. I ended up ordering one on Amazon as it was cheaper than the repair! And ONLY because the bag had sentimental value.

The ladies at Nelda’s are down of the most nice, inviting and pleasant people I’ve met in Austin.

Despite not doing what I came in for I will be back. They are my new tailors.

Outstanding!! We took a wedding dress to be altered and hemmed. It turned out perfect. The quality, service and timeliness were superb. Gladys was kind, clear on the pricing and timing and very helpful, and Anita did beautiful work on the dress. Nelda’s is an Austin treasure!

I’ve been going to Nelda’s Tailors since the 90s. They have worked on formal wear, suits, simple tailoring, you name it. I trust them with my clothes and they’ve been honest when something is not able to be altered- which I appreciate. Could not recommend them higher!

I have been going to Nelda's for years now and they are absolutely the best! The staff is professional, personable, super sweet, accommodating, informative and reasonably priced. It's always been a quick and reasonable turnaround depending on the job and if it's wedding season they have been communicative and let me know things may take a little longer. They have also come through in a pinch! Their work is always top notch. I got my mom goin there and she loves them! I highly recommend Nelda's!

I had my complex pantsuit for our son's wedding altered. They have a very comfortable place, sweet and professional tailors, and when I came back to try on my outfit after the alterations were done on time, the result exceeded my best expectation. They are excellent and I highly recommend them.

I had a dress emergency less than 2 weeks before my wedding. Nelda's Tailors was able to get me in through a walk-in appointment and find a solution for me. They were great at communicating when my dress would be ready and they made it possible for me to fix my dress in time and at an affordable cost. I will plan to use them for things that may pop up in the future!

Nelda's Tailors altered my wedding dress to fit perfectly!! The dress looked great before tailoring but after they worked their magic, it fit me so perfectly and I felt so beautiful the day of my wedding!!
