I had some couch cushions that my dog tore up, honestly I thought I had to just buy new ones but I brought them here and they were super helpful and responsive, also great prices. Wouldn’t change a thing, I’ll be coming back if I ever need something similar!

A strap was accidentally yanked off on my rooftop car cargo carrier bag (wild xplorer) before a move & needed a quick fix. Called if they sew non-clothing items & was told I could bring it in that day. Took 5 minutes & strap is sewed on sturdy.

I’m sure this tailor is great for furniture upholstery and maybe even dress alterations. This is just my personal experience.
I bought a $1000 suit for my wedding from Bonobos that needed hemming, and the jacket needed to be let out about 2 inches. This was an (almost) custom suit where I went into their showroom and had measurements taken. Bonobos told me that they didn’t do alterations in house, and that I needed to take it to a reputable tailor to have some final things done. I was informed by them from the beginning that their suit jackets have about 2.5 inches of extra fabric to be let out, and I would have to have it let out and fitted correctly.
I told the ladies at KAD when I first arrived that I needed the jacket let out, and they told me it was impossible and that there wasn’t enough fabric to even let it out more than a quarter inch. Instead, they insisted that they could only move the buttons over and they hemmed my pants and jacket. I was quoted about 2 and a half weeks for hemming.
I felt like I had been lied to by Bonobos, so I called their customer service line. Again, they insisted that there was enough fabric built into the jacket to have it let out. When I picked up my suit (again, after 2.5 weeks and about $56 later) I asked the ladies if they could let out my suit and insisted to them that there was enough fabric. They giggled at me and were very dismissive. It simply felt like they either didn’t want my business or they were not equipped to actually tailor a suit jacket.
I called Bonobos again and they recommend Gassane tailors in Austin off of Anderson lane. I showed up with my jacket and the woman took out a seam ripper and confirmed that there was 2.5 inches available to be let out. She took my measurements and 4 days later I have a jacket that is perfectly tailored to me.
I am very frustrated that I wasn’t paid attention to, and the giggling from the ladies at KAD really made me confident that I shouldn’t trust them with an expensive piece of clothing again.

KAD is now the only place we will go to have alterations. We had a suit and bridesmaid dress done and both came out better than we expected! They truly made them fit us perfectly! They are so friendly and even saw something on my dress they wanted to fix and fixed it right then so I didn’t have to come back. They are amazing and I would recommend them to anyone!!
