I came to Best Tailoring with a designer dress that needed elastic added to the waist. The back panel of the dress was fully shirred except for the waist.

Unfortunately, I left this experience feeling horrible about myself. Not only did the woman who assisted me say that what I was asking for was not possible, she asked me to try on the dress and laughed, saying that the bust wouldn’t fit me anyway. I informed her that based on the measurements on the dress it would, however it was clear she would not be open to altering my dress. She made me feel absolutely horrible about my body.

As I was leaving, she made a comment that what I was asking for would cost over $100 dollars anyway. It felt as though she was implying that I wouldn’t be able to pay, despite the fact that it was a designer dress. The whole situation left me feeling defeated.

Thankfully, I was able to get the dress fixed by a different seamstress, who not only did excellent work but she didn’t body shame me either. Additionally, with the alteration, my dress fits like a glove. I would not come here if you are not an extremely thin person.

I was pleasantly surprised that there is a great quality place where I can take my clothes to get tailored. I was in a pinch literally with my pants after gaining some weight and needed loosen it up a little. And I need to get in a hurry so I trusted best cleaners to do the job. Thank you best cleaners!

I will forever bring my stuff to Best Tailoring for anything that I need hemmed! She hemmed a very important dress for me in a very timely manner and was able to do some additional hemming I needed on it after the fact and took care of it even though it was definitely my fault! She is so sweet and professional! 10/10!

I used Best Tailoring years ago to alter a formal dress, after I lost weight. She did an absolutely amazing job. She is so friendly and such a great person to interact with. I recently had a pair of my brother's jeans altered, since I kept breaking my sewing machine needle, the material/seams are extremely thick . They look great! I'm sure he's going to be extremely pleased - I would NEVER have been able to accomplish what she did. I'm so thankful I rediscovered Best Tailoring. I would most definitely recommend her.

I purchased a few pairs of Men's Levi Jeans a few months ago that had a proper fit, but I wanted them to be more tapered without discomfort. Young has a relatively quiet demeanor, and initially, I assumed she didn't speak much, but after spending time explaining what I wanted, I sensed she's an observative individual. To the benefit of her clients, particularly myself, I'm grateful she has such attention to detail.

I have never had a pair of jeans altered, only suit jackets and pants, so I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I am proud to say that I have never felt more comfortable in jeans than I do after working with Young at Best Tailoring. Also, during the pickup process, she was so delighted that I was happy with her work; it showed me her passion.

I'm so happy I went here to get my suit tailored! I was in a bit of a rush and she was able to get everything done within a week. She did an excellent job and my suit looks a lot better on me. She's such a nice lady too! I will definitely be coming back here for any of my future alteration/tailoring needs and I will 100% recommend her to anyone.
