Got a call about an unpaid invoice I never received from an appointment a year ago. I tried to contact them a few times after the visit to my house to see where the invoice was, and our documentation, but I couldn’t get ahold of anyone. Gave them my email again, and still have not received anything. The documentation I’ve been waiting for is useless at this point as our new build house is out of warranty.

Edit: the office chalked it up to an error with a past employee and made it right. I’ve upped my review from 1 to 3 stars

Unresponsive, unprofessional, and all around the worst experience dealing with a so called “ professional “company. Met with Brett Hynds, about a job, who told me he would provide us with engineer plans for a customer wanting an addition on his home , he said he would get back to us with a plan, Waited almost 3 months with no response. We left 3 emails and 4 phone calls, I even went to the office to I find out what I needed to do, but, the sweet older office lady said he was running around and she would leave a message on his desk, again no response. We Almost lost a respected customer due to the lack of communication. The firm is not run by the engineer himself at all. The staff is unprofessional, extremely unorganized and couldn’t care less about the public. They do not return calls, or emails and just flat out ignore customers . Find another engineering group if you want to get your project done, or … you will completely waste your time and energy.

Stay away! Mismanemangement top to bottom, poor communication, very unprofessional. Struggles identifying load bearing walls.

Had them out to for a recommendation/letter for permit on removing two walls during a renovation. Chris is physically unable to see all the spaces he needs to make recommendations on, in my case he sent an intern/new hire into spaces and shouted questions they were clearly unsure about. Intern or new hire took poor photos, so I had to go into the spaces and take new ones for them a couple days later.

Surprise the first letter was incorrect, both walls were load bearing, not one as Chris thought. So I have them out again to redo the letter. Chris shows up visibly irritated to be back correcting his own mistake and is extremely rude and unprofessional. His excuse for the error was completely refuted by the pictures I sent originally with the first visit.

Guys were nice when they came over.Have called to follow up / move forward 3 times!!. Husband called 2x. Emailed twice. Woman at office was clueless every time. Knew that they come to job site but that was all she could find. Never called back or even acknowledged email!!! Very strange. Now we are very very behind on project. Too bad.chris was lovely.

I tried to have them do structural drawings in order to remove load bearing walls for a kitchen renovation. Paid $400 for an initial letter, which was worthless to any contractor. Intended to have them write more detailed drawings for structural engineering for additional money, which they never completed. Multiple issues with poor communication and then complete lapses in communication that went on for months. Do not use them. Caused us significant delays in our project.
