I was referred to Lucy by my bridal salon when they couldn't fit me in to have my reception dress altered before June. And I'm so glad they did! Lucy did an absolutely fantastic job with my dress. The dress was about 1 size too large for me, but now it fits like a glove. The work Lucy did on my dress is impeccable, and I am so excited to wear it at my wedding. Fantastic alterations, quick turnaround, and an amazing price. Thank you Lucy!!

I had a bridesmaid dress altered here recently. Just a straightforward hem on the length. The hem looked nice but the price was outrageous. $160 for a simple hem. Never going back.

I had such a great experience with my first altered bridesmaid dress, I’m going back again! They truly do a wonderful job at getting the perfect fit. I’m quite petite and short at 5’2” and my dress fit perfectly and looked great in the wedding photos. Also, I usually ask how long a hemming of a dress etc would take so I don’t have expectations outside of reality. She always has been fast and efficient! I do think I bring cash but I prefer to support local and she should definitely be recognized for rheir lovely shop!

I was referred to Lucy’s around 2000 by my best friend for all of my alteration needs. I found the shop to be extremely professional and they do amazing work. In 2002 I took my wedding dress in to be altered and I was extremely impressed. Since then I have continued to take all of my alterations there as well as recommend them to family and friends who have also used Lucy’s. I wouldn’t trust my clothing to anyone else!

Went here based on the 5 star reviews. I needed my sons suit jacket altered and the man told me it's too expensive here and gave me a quote. I told him I was ok paying it because it needed it for my mom's funeral. He still told me to just go to another tailor.

They altered my dress beautifully!! I would pay the price forever knowing that my dress was done the way it was! Slightly pricey but they did such an amazing job that I didn’t even care. It was perfect length and exactly what I wanted

DOES NOT TAKE CREDIT CARDS--but well worth it. I had a fur coat with an armhole seam that split open 3 inches. I was quoted $75 and 2-3 weeks turnaround time by a furrier. This place did it for $36 and had it done the same day! It looks great-you would never know it's been repaired.
