Mechanical PE Exam Prep -

This course was super helpful in my studying for the PE exam. Dan provides you with loads of practice problems with detailed video solutions and he's very easy to contact with any questions including his biweekly office hours. I went into studying needing some structure and a game plan, and this course was exactly what I needed

Passed PE with Dan Molloy- Full Bundle. Definitely better than Engineering Pro Guides (too generic) and PPI (too complex)- failed using those courses. I need a better teacher and program. This course is way better structured, more interpersonal, more in-depth, and specifically dedicated to HVAC PE versus the other programs. It’s not only allowing you to be pass the exam but to develop better habits.

I used the PPI2Pass previously and it did not work for me, so I tried Dan's program. I had the knowledge and understanding, but my biggest hurdles were test-taking confidence and time management. I contribute my passing success to Dan's explanations and how far into the details he went regarding the concepts and especially his mental approach to each problem. Plus, his model of paying once and using the resource material for as long as it takes really took the pressure off. Don't waste your money on the other programs. Dan Molloy really has an amazing program!

I cannot speak highly enough for the quality of instruction and value provided in the Mechanical PE Exam Prep. My experience as a mechanical engineer is primarily as a project manager, meaning I have little experience with hands-on design or the need to engineer anything. This gap in knowledge was made extremely obvious once I started studying for the exam. Fortunately, Dan's instruction and step-by-step tutorials/videos helped me fill these gaps and successfully pass the exam. Another huge benefit is lifetime access. During the middle of my prep, my family suffered a tragic loss, and I was forced to take a few months off from studying. Fortunately, I was able to dig back in once I was ready.

11/10, couldn't have had a better prep course/teacher. Dan truly goes above and beyond with this course. I would strongly recommend his course to anyone taking a Mechanical PE exam. Dan did a great job supporting me as I prepared for the HVAC PE exam. His course game me so much confidence when it finally came to exam day.

Dan’s course offers a great variety of exam-like as well as challenging practice questions, with in depth solution videos without skipping any steps. Completing this course prepares you to answer exam problems with ease like muscle memory. This course was instrumental to my success in passing on the first attempt.

This was a super helpful program to help me pass the HVAC PE. I studied for about 4 months, the month and a half leading up to the exam I really turned up the heat. I went through all of the practice problems and then took practice test. Reworked the practice in the sections I didn’t do to hot on the practice exam. Took the NCEES exam and then the second practice exam. I only used this and the and one of the NCEES practice tests and felt pretty good coming out of the exam. I passed the exam on the first try. The only con I have for the program was I wish there was data after the practice exams. For example on my first practice exam I got like a 52% I wish there would have been a clear breakdown of how I did per type of question. However, that is pretty minimal gripe. Where this course really shines is getting you able to navigate the reference manual. That is probably the most important part when taking the PE. If the PE is required for you job, this is a solid course for getting you ready.

There is simply not a better exam prep option out there. I took the HVAC and Refrigeration exam and passed it on the first try, with confidence, thanks to Dan's course. There are two things I find especially unique about the way Dan's course prepares you better than others. First, Dan has incredibly detailed, written out, and narrated solution to all of his problems. He explains them like a human being, and gives you real world examples of how to think about concepts. This video narration also makes it easy to start a solution, get a hint, then pause it and solve the problem on your own. This technique was incredibly useful to me. Second, Dan makes himself available as if he's your actual professor! I shared numerous email back-and-forth with Dan where he answered all my questions and gave great advice. His office hours are crucial as well. There's nothing worse than getting stuck on a problem outside of Dan's course and not knowing where to look for an explanation of why it isn't making sense to you. I can't recommend this course enough for anyone trying to pass the exam!
