I recently had the pleasure of reflecting on my experience with PE Solar, and I can’t recommend them enough! About four years ago, I had solar panels installed by their team, and I’ve been nothing but satisfied with the service and the installation.

What truly impressed me was their commitment to customer care. I was pleasantly surprised when Nick Farhat from PE Solar made a follow-up visit without us even reaching out. It was a wonderful gesture that demonstrated their dedication to ensuring everything was running smoothly and that we were happy with our system.

The installation process was seamless, and the team was professional and knowledgeable throughout. Since then, we’ve enjoyed the benefits of reduced energy bills and peace of mind knowing we’re using renewable energy.

Overall, I highly recommend PE Solar for anyone considering solar energy. Their exceptional service, attention to detail, and follow-up care set them apart in the industry!

Update; 8/31/24– We have now had our solar system installed by PE Solar for almost 5 years. So far, we have not had any major issues with the installation or the operation of the system. The few times I’ve had to call customer service, mostly due to Internet connectivity issues with the main panel, they have been very helpful, and they were able to help me through resolving any issue over the phone or by email. They have also contacted me a few times over the past five years, either in person or by phone to check on the operation of the system. As a business owner myself, that is the kind of Customer Service that I like to see.
My electric bills are higher than they have been in past, but that is just due the rising cost of electricity in general. Several of my neighbors have complained about their high electric bills, but we have averaged electric bill of about $120/month so far this year to heat/cool, our 3500 square-foot house with a pool. Due to the holistic energy efficient approach that PE Solar addresses the solar system installation, adding insulation to the attic, a hybrid water heater, or installing a more efficient pool pump, I would still highly recommend PE Solar for any solar installation.

12/2019: PE Solar installed a new solar system and was commissioned on 11/20, but not fully operational until 12/20 due to a wiring short during the initial installation. They had the service Dept come out and fix the problem, but ended up replacing several panels that also shorted out due to wires being pinched by the original installers. My average monthly electric bill with Duke energy was $283.00 prior to adding my solar system. After 9 months of the system producing electricity, my average electric bill has been $63.00/month. Julie, my sales person said my new system would offset $220.00/mth of electricity. Surprisingly enough, She was right on the money! The thing that really intrigued me most about PE solar is that they look at they solar system and your electricity usage as a whole plan. Adding insulation to the attic, efficient pool pump and an efficient water heater. I already had a solar water heater for the last 10 years so I know how well they worked. I opted for the new pool pump and the added attic installation. Once the insulation was installed, I noticed that my house was more comfortable right away. I should have done that years ago! A few minor hiccups during installation is why I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars. But overall my experience with their service Dept since then has been very positive. My only regret is to not incorporate the battery backup with my system, which PE Solar does not currently provide. I will have to look elsewhere for that add on in the near future or hopefully they will offer that in the future. A bit more difficult after the fact I am finding. Their system is not the cheapest, but it seems to work very well. But you also get what you pay for.

I had my panels installed several years ago which have worked without issue since. I had an inverter issue last year which was quickly taken care of with a replacement unit and no real time missed on solar production.
I would definitely recommend PE as reliable and professional.

We've had our solar system since 2019 and it's saved just as expected. PE Solar's installation went pretty smoothly, and when we had a series of equipment issues a couple years ago, they came back multiple times until they fixed it. (It ended up taking several months overall of off and on issues until they determined the underlying issue, but they did compensate for the lost production.) And recently Nick has improved their customer support, which has been welcome!

Had PE solar install my system 3 years ago. Has worked great, no issues with the roof or equipment. Installers and staff were great to work with and knowledgeable. Posting this review because 2 PE employees came by just to check that everything was OK and that I'm satisfied. 3 YEARS LATER.

We answered the door some years ago to a young man, telling us about his company and how we could get solar panels as a promotion. We liked the options offered (included a new water heater and more blown insulation) so we took the offer and had the panels installed. The install was quick, and the guys doing it were efficient. That has been about 5-6 years ago - honestly don’t remember fully the number of years because those panels have been quietly reducing our electric bills to be in the 30-35 dollar range during the winter and during the summer - well it’s astonishing, one time we hit a high of only 165.00. And yes we keep the house cool in the summer. Compare that to what we hear are the current normal summer power bills for most people who don’t have solar. Thermostat is set to 76. Now it’s just the two of us. Retired so we are home all the time. I just highly recommend this company, our experience has been fantastic.

Not to happy with them, I was told I was going to have a 30$ bill and if my bill would rise, they would have made things right by adding more solar panels if needed. Also the water heater is broken and I can’t get that serviced on. I leave emails and voicemails. I keep getting the run around from everybody. The company is not out for your best interest. They make their money and run. I’ve never gave a bad review, but I feel I have been treated wrongly and no one in the company is willing to even try to help me in anyway. I’m sorry but PE Solar is not a trustworthy company. STAY AWAY!!!! oh by the way my electric bill is up to 200$ now.

This company is legit! I purchased my system 2 years ago and it has worked well for me. Nick Farhat at PE Solar was great at explaining how the system would work ahead of my signing papers. It is true that my total cost between the loan for solar system and the electric bill from Duke is not above what I had paid for Duke alone. The Net Metering makes this affordable. Duke has a $30 minimum per month and my payment for the system is $85. There were only a couple months per year that I didn’t have enough credits with Duke and had to pay them a little more. I recommend PE Solar when looking at getting home Solar in Florida.
