Shobu’s Clothing Alterations

I recently had alterations done on three Indian tops and a lehenga for my wedding, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Shobu was quick and offered very affordable prices, making the whole experience stress-free. She did an excellent job on all the garments, ensuring they fit perfectly. I will definitely be using her services in the future for both Indian and American clothing. Highly recommend!

Shobu’s Clothing Alterations did a great job tailoring my bridesmaid dress! The fabric was a tricky material (velvet) and it came out perfectly! Plus, the cost was reasonable and the dress was completed very quickly. I’ll definitely be back for future alterations!

I had a great experience working with Shobu’s Clothing Alterations. I had a bridesmaid dress that arrived later than expected but needed to be hemmed. She was able to accommodate my schedule to come by for the length fitting and was able to complete the alterations sooner than requested. The results are perfect, she got the length spot on and the hemming is neat and clean.

I just received the dress I asked for alternating. It is absolutely what I wanted the first place. It’s going to be one of my college graduation dresses and was frustrated it wasn’t fitting. Essentially it was too long and loose especially around the waist. She did an AMAZING job! It’s good to have a tailor who you can trust. Definitely worth the price and the price is good. Would recommend this place to anyone I know who needs a tailor. I cannot provide pictures of before and after because I didn’t take any and will keep that in mind for the next time possibly.

I got my 7 year old daughter’s Bharathanatiyam costume altered, which was too big. Shobana’s sewing skills are amazing. She took just 3 days. Such a neat work and it fitted so well. Her price is very reasonable. Highly recommend her.
