Vali's Tailor & Tuxedo

Charged me $98 to hem a gown. Should have clarified the price before she did the work or takien more home ec classes in high school. Won’t be returning.

Took a sport coat here to get the sleeves shortened. The customer service was excellent, the turnaround time was within a week, the work they did on my jacket was exactly what I wanted, and the price was reasonable. I would highly recommend Vali’s!

I have come to them for alternations every time I needed a formal dress adjusted. Each time the price was reasonable, the work was done great, and I was always impressed with how fast the work got done. I will continue coming here for alterations.

She is an absolute miracle worker ... from backpacks to Halloween costumes and everything in between, she's awesome. I went in today with a unique request - sewing a commemorative patch on a baseball jersey. Although I hadn't seen her in many years, she remembered what she'd helped me with long ago (an outfit that made me look like Ponch from CHiPs) and then greeted me with a big smile!

Been using Vali's for all my pant alterations. About $20-$30 to get it hemmed i recall including suit pants. Quality is great, stitching well done. Service is great as well. I think the Oak Park Mall location has been in business for over a decade (as of 2020), which says something.

Vali has been my tailor since 1995.I love her and I won't ever go to anyone else. She is very talented and very fast. She is very kind and caring.She will make you look fabulous. The reason that I stay with her is because she works very hard and she isn't trying to make a buck.She's very honest about telling you if something is worth tailoring or not.If it doesn't need any work she will tell you. Vail is truly like family to me and I need to show her my appreciation in a tangible way. My mother had a beautiful silk blouse with a tie that was sucked in a vacuum hose.She was crushed. I recommended, Vali's.She let me take the blouse to her and when it was finished, you couldn't even tell that the tie was torn.That's talent. I will go to her until she retires. I highly recommend her for her tailoring needs.

Vali's is amazing. From formal attire alterations to simple fabric and zipper repairs, I have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and the services are reasonably priced and completed on time. I highly recommend this tailor.

It costs $75 to get a dress shortened here. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m new to the KC area (originally from Omaha) but I was expecting it to be about $40. Definitely a jaw dropper when going to pay. Make sure to confirm a price with them before you let them take your items for alterations.
