This tailor is a hit or miss. Sometimes her work is excellent (example: transforming pants into capris), but too many times it appeared rushed, despite the several weeks it took to complete, depending on her workload. Mistakes happen, but my issue is how she handles the situation. I had these beautiful embroidered jeans that needed hemmed. When I picked them up, the stitching was the wrong color (blue vs orange) and it was all jagged. Instead of an apology, she got upset and even charged me full price a second time to repair the jeans. Even worse, they are my favorite pair of jeans, but also the first I had ever gotten hemmed and didn't know to specify to keep the original hem...but she didn't give the options while writing out the ticket and picked the easier one, unbeknownst to me. While being fitted for a crop top that was too loose, I pinched the fabric to show how much I needed removed, all of a sudden, she grabbed both sides and tightened it in a rough manner, which hurt. Lo and behold, the crop top ended up too small and I had to get rid of it; it wasn't the only piece of clothing I could no longer wear due to her alterations. The reasonable prices, plus the 10% off for students is nice, but she does have a serious chip on her shoulder about other businesses offering a military discount (although I never inquired about a military discount).

Owner refused to tell me prices over the phone and complained about wasting her time when I found her prices disagreeable. $30 per sleeve for basic hemming is egregious, especially since conveniently glossed over the price. Rude and entitled.

amazing quality work! I found a beautiful thrift store wedding dress that was to small and she put in a a corset backing and it fit perfectly! She worked with me and my huge time crunch and was so helpful in helping me with designing the rest. 10/10 would recommend

I went in to get my wedding dress cut from the bottom (to long from the front). I asked for a quote and she said no more then $200 and I thought that was a good price for a wedding dress. I left it with her and when I came to pick it up, it was a complete disaster. My dress looked like a dog tore it up! I was in tears. And to make matters worse she would not give me my dress back until I paid her $300 for her horrible job. I do not recommend this place at all. Horrible experience. Luckily my mom helped me fix my dress a week before my wedding. ( I will try to post pictures of the horrible job she did).

I had men's suit pants and suit jacket cuffs shortened for my wedding. I only had about 3 weeks to get it done and she was able to get me in and measured right away. Both turned out great and she was able to finish earlier than expected! She was great to work with you can tell she really cares because she is almost more excited than you are to see the finished piece on you and fitting great.

Pro Tip: Call ahead to schedule an appointment for measurements and pickup. The shop is really busy so it helps to make sure you don't have to wait for an opening.

I took my wedding dress to this woman in March for alterations. She said that she was busy with prom but that she could fit me in the beginning of may have have it done in time for my wedding. I was supposed to have a second try on April 24th before she would make any alterations to make sure that I had not changed in size since I’m pregnant. I messaged her April 23rd letting her know that I had some changes and that I cannot afford the alterations. I asked her not to do anything to the dress and that I’d be in the next day to pick it up and would pay her for her time she spent with me measuring and pinning it from the initial day. I showed up and she had already hacked my dress and claimed she hemmed it and that I owed her for that. I left to get cash and came back two days later with all the money for hemming and she also had taken it in on the sides and she wasn’t supposed to. Now I have a dress too small and a bottom that was botched with scissors not correctly hemmed and has to be patched or repaired elsewhere when I can afford it and out $250 because she was money hungry and quickly cut into it before pickup even tho I asked her not to touch the dress.

I had two dresses that needed hemmed up before the holidays and didn't have much time. The owner was patient, helpful, and got them done so quickly! I sincerely appreciated the speed and kindness I was shown. Definitely recommend them and will use them again when I need alterations done!

Very happy with the service here! I bought the perfect dress for graduation that ended up being way too small in the chest and she was able to make it work even though it was a difficult fabric to work with. She is very, very nice with great quality work and affordable pricing. Definitely recommending this place to anyone I know who needs alterations!
