I could not have been happier with the way my wedding dress turned out! You could not tell where anything was taken in or shortened. The lace detailing was still flawless. She added a belt on the inside of the dress to make zipping it easier. The bustle was absolutely invisible while the train was down and held up all night after being bustled for the reception! Not to mention all of this was done in just a couple months and super affordable! Love love love!

I live in NYC. Needless to say, there are a LOT of garment shops and master re-weavers here. But, when my tailor told me to send my suit halfway across the country to be repaired by Tammy, I didn't question the advice. And Tammy did not disappoint. From a customer service point of view, she gave me clear expectations about the wait time and her ability to do the repairs. From a craftsmanship point of view, the repairs are flawless (no small accomplishment when the material has a subtle pattern on it). From a price point of view, Tammy is incredibly fair. Without a doubt, Tammy is a master in her field and a person that I will recommend to anyone and everyone.

I've sent two garments that had serious moth holes in them to Amazing Garment Repair. The work AGR did is, as their name suggests, amazing. They are thoroughly skilled in the French reweaving technique with such results that on the one garment I was unable to find where exactly they did the work -- the damage was fixed with nary a sign.

The work on both garments -- both suit jackets -- was done in obvious places: the upper back on one and the right sleeve on the other. They were challenging jobs and they are completely fixed.

The turnaround time was quick respective of the skill and expertise that is required for this method of fixing. And the pricing is beyond reasonable.

Listen, I hope I never have to contact these fine people again. But I rest assured that should I ever have another moth problem, it won't be the "end of the world" because the talented ladies at AGR will be there to . . . ahem . . . patch things up. I highly recommend AGR to make your holes whole again!

I came here because of the positive reviews. I sent my suit jacket for sleeve alternations but I have to say that I’m very disappointed. The alternation was done poorly. I think the issue is that they left too much lining after shortened the sleeves. Pic #1 is what one of the sleeves looks like after the alternation and Pic #2 is what a brand new jacket from the same brand looks like (I have two of these in different colors). If you look closely, you will see that they didn’t even bother taking out the loose threads, which concludes that they are not very detail-oriented. If it’s only for the quality of the job, I’d give 1 star. I’m giving 2 because they are very friendly. After I told them about my concern, they did try to steam it and fix it. Although the outcome was slightly improved (i.e., now the sleeve has a cleaner edge), this is still far from what I’m expecting from a store with almost 5 stars. Overall, I would never come back and would never recommend anyone to come here.

Tammy and the team at Amazing Garment Repair did a phenomenal job on my wedding dress. I needed the shoulder straps taken in and some length taken off the bottom of my dress. My dress fit like a glove on wedding day. I recently went back for another dress alterations because they do such great work.
