A lovely shop in a heart of Kansas City owed by amazing family from Russia, they are always kind, welcoming, professional and will make any alternations without any questions or saying that it can't be done, but always "yes we will take care of it and we'll call when ready", plus the prices are reasonable and great!. Larissa is extremely nice and fun to talk to, and Misha is always attentive and sweet. I'm proud to know them for over 12 years and will always have them do my alternations for me! 10 stars if not more!
And on top of it all they support Ukraine which makes them 100% BEST!!!

My partner put off getting hemming alterations done for a wedding until the week of? This place was able to accommodate him and his suit looked absolutely incredible! The price was absolutely reasonable, especially considering we needed this done within 4 days. I would definitely recommend this Tailor!!

I brought a bridesmaid dress to this tailor shop in a bit of a panic as my bridesmaid's dress was too small. I put the dress on to show the staff my situation and the dress was hardly even touched or looked at to investigate whether it could be taken out or not. Instead, in front of other customers, she shook her head and said, "Go to Halls, they have a sale." I was embarrassed and disappointed when I was already in a very stressful situation. I brought my dress to another tailor in the area who got the job done in a matter of 5 days without hesitation. Very disappointing and rude treatment. I would never even consider going back.

One of the most professional and expedient experiences I've had! Brought my new Joe's jeans that were a little too long. Upon entering was pleasantly greeted by Misha and asked to change so he could make marks for the alterations. After that was done, Misha took about 5 minutes to hem my jeans. Surprisingly fast service and the job was done perfectly! Highly recommend this business!

This tailor shop saved the day today for our family! We came in from out of state for our son's wedding and upon arrival discovered that his rented tuxedo was too big...way too big! It was Friday night and places were closed, so I started searching nearby tailors and found Larissa's. I sent a desperate Facebook message asking if there was any chance that they could alter it on Saturday and they responded within an hour and told us to come in the next morning and they could get it done with no problem. They were so kind, professional, talented, and fast! He tried his tuxedo on for us this evening and he now looks it was custom made for him! They worked a miracle in just a few hours on short notice for us and I will be forever grateful! Larissa's made this mother of the groom's anxiety go away and I can't wait for the wedding tomorrow, to see my handsome son in his beautifuly, tailored tuxedo by this kind hearted mother and son duo. They are the BEST!

Larissa's is hands down the best Tailor Shop I have been to, and my go-to for all alterations and repairs. They are extremely accommodating and true professionals. Their work is always done to my liking, and they continue to exceed expectations. I would highly recommend!

A while ago I brought in a dress to be repaired. To be honest, the work was not an simple fix. The upper part of the dress had this kind of pleating and the fabric on the underside of two of the panels had pulled away from the seam on the body of the dress causing it to fray (a length of 2-3 inches of fabric on each). I was not expecting it to be particularly cheap to repair. They quoted me at a price that seemed a little high, but not so high as to be unreasonable. Again, the cost wasn't the problem, and I was willing to pay more for quality work.

>>>When I returned to pick up my dress, before I walked out of the store I inspected it to see if I could tell they had fixed it. (This was my first time using a new tailor in 8 years, so I wanted to make sure I was satisfied before I left.) Wouldn't you know, they only fixed one of the two seams! I explained that the work wasn't complete, and that they had not fixed the garment as we had agreed. The woman working told me that they would fix it, but only if I paid double what we had agreed on!!! I tried to explain that when I had talked to her before she explicitly quoted me for the price of fixing both seams, but she was really rude about it and stated that since they would have to open the dress up again she "couldn't do it for free". I was livid. However, I was planning on wearing the dress to an event that was coming up and just desperately wanted it to be done, so I agreed and walked out. I picked up my dress the following week and never went back.
In my opinion, despite the quality of work, that is such shady business practice, not to mention awful customer service.
